Sherrill A Weigel

Sherrill Weigel, age 78 of Delaware, passed peacefully into the presence of the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on November 19, 2025.
Sherrill was a graduate of Smyrna High School.
Sherrill cherished spending time with her granddaughter. They enjoyed playing board games together. A sparkle would always enter her eyes when in the presence of her precious granddaughter.
Our family extends our heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Westminster, for their many years of Christian and loving care for Sherrill and support for our family.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel Weigel.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughter Carrie Smith, Son in law, Wayne Smith, granddaughter Jenna, along with other family members and friends.
A closed casket visitation with the family will be at Berean Community Church, 2709 Milford Harrington, Hwy, Milford, Delaware 19963, on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 9:30 am. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 am, burial will take place in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend, Delaware.
In celebration of Sherrill's life, the family asks if you are able to please feel free to wear any of the following: Robin's egg blue (Sherrill's favorite color), Red (for stroke support), pink, (for breast cancer) or any kind of flowers, as she loved all flowers.
In lieu of plants or flowers, donations may be made in Sherrill's memory to Berean Community Church in Milford, Delaware, 2709 Milford Harrington Hwy, Milford, DE 19963.
