Sherry Gaffke was born on July 14, 1944, to the late George and Mary (Katterhagen) Gaffke in Little Elk Township, MN. She graduated from Little Falls Community High School in 1962. On September 28, 1964, she was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Andres at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. Together, they shared a loving and devoted partnership that spanned decades. Sherry's work began as a homemaker raising her four girls, and once the girls graduated high school, she took a job at St. Francis Convent where she worked for 10 years. Sherry had a joyful spirit and a heart full of warmth. She loved picking agates, playing cards, and her favorite card game being bingo. In their retirement, she and Bob shared a passion for travel, with special memories made in Alaska, and the western United States. Above all, Sherry was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. She had a youthful heart and was always eager to join in on her children's adventures. Her laughter, kindness, and spirited nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sherry is survived by her husband Bob, of 60 years; daughters, Michelle (Scott) Pick, Kari (Ricky) Masog, Julie Andres, and Wendy DeWitt; brother, Bernard (Shirley) Gaffke; sister, Donna Andres; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary (Katterhagen) Gaffke; brothers, Gerald and Gene Gaffke; sister, Mary Ann Drew; sisters-in-law, Pat and Delores Gaffke; and brother-in-law, Donald Andres.
