Sherry Lee Duncan, 66, of Sophia, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 23, 1958, at Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Betty (Butterworth) Bolen.
Sherry was a Christian, loved to travel especially to Pigeon Forge, she enjoyed riding out to Grandview, and she loved her cats and dogs especially her dogs, Ozzy, Jolene, Sammy, and Toby.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Deloris White and Linda Hylton; two brothers, Bobby and Jackie Bolen; and three nephews, Davy Bolen, Heath and Jonathan White.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Laura Gardner and her husband, Moe; her son, Lee Duncan and his companion, Hunter Bonds; brother, Roy Bolen and his wife, Joyce; three grandchildren, Cheyanne Gardner and her husband, Frank Hinkle, Cody Gardner and his wife, Brittany, and Kaylee Gardner; great grandchildren, Jaxon Hinkle, Gabriel Gardner, and Frankie Hinkle, Jr.; very special aunt and cousin, Shirley Butterworth and Jackie; special nephew, Bob Bolen; special niece, Staci Bowyer; nieces, Mary, Gail, and Tammy; two nephews, Bobbie and Scott Bolen; and very special lifelong friends, Denny and Helen Hughes and Melinda Stoots.
Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 11, 2025 at the Soak Creek Tabernacle, Sophia with Pastor Denny Hughes officiating.
