Sherry was a hard worker and made a living in various factories to support her family. She enjoyed collecting oddities and growing indoor plants. Sherry loved family gatherings and spending time with friends.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Royetta Flinn of Aurora, Missouri; her devoted significant other of 11 years, Larry Hammers of Springfield, Missouri; three sons, Jason Guess and his wife, Jeannie, of Fordland, Missouri, Jon Guess and his wife, Michelle, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, and Jeremy Guess and his wife, Ashley, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; one daughter, Bobbie Evans of Springfield, Missouri; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, David Flinn.
A celebration of Sherry's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Aurora Baptist Temple in Aurora, Missouri.
