Sherry Amberice Forkner

Sherry Amberice Forkner, age 73, of Vonore, was born January 29, 1952 at Blount Memorial Hospital and left this world Sunday, March 23, 2025 in her home. She worked for many years doing landscape design and installation. She was a woman of many talents. She could run any piece of equipment better than most men, had an excellent green thumb and was a great fisher woman. Sherry loved being outside any chance she got, especially making mud pies with her great-granddaughter, Laney Grace and she would take her great-grandson, Greer, for a ride on her wheelchair. Member of Oakland United Methodist Church.
Survivors, daughter & son-in-law, Remonia & Rick Sparks, Grandson, Clay (Lexie Young) Sparks, Granddaughter, Katelyn (Jake) Kagley, Great-granddaugher, Laney Grace Sparks, Great-grandson, Samuel Greer Kagley, Lifelong best friend, Terry Hammontree. Preceded in death by son, Samuel Franklin Forkner, III, parents, Luke & Bert Hammontree, brother, Curtis Hammontree.
