Sherry Lynn Gatton, of Conyers, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the age of 70. Mrs. Gatton was a loving and devoted woman who cherished her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She always put others first, and her kindness touched the lives of many. A passionate preschool teacher, she dedicated her career to shaping young minds. She loved bird watching, spending time at the beach, and enjoying the mountains. Her passion for life and for others was evident in everything she did.
Survivors include her Children, Clint Gatton (Jenny Geisen), Jenna Johnson (Blair); Grandchildren, Makayla Gatton, Lillian Gatton, and Henry Gatton.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Gatton will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
