Sherry Elaine Harris was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on February 6, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born January 15, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee. Sherry lived her life spreading the joy of the Lord to everyone she met. In her youth, she was often found serving at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Later in life, she could be found greeting churchgoers at the doors of Luke 4:18 Fellowship. Sherry graduated from the University of Mobile with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
Sherry's most cherished moments were spent with her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and daughter, committed to making her house a home. Sherry was lovingly known as "She-she" to her beloved grandchildren and great-nephews. She was often found playing games, hosting parties, and slipping money to all of the children who loved her. She-she will be greatly missed.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Elmo Daily.
Sherry is survived by her husband, George Harris; her children, Christina Roeder and Bradley Harris; her grandchildren, Madison Roeder, Harrison Roeder, and Olivia Harris; her mother, Jewel Daily; and her siblings, Cynthia Nix, Charles Douglas Daily, and Donna Wyatt.
The funeral service will be held on February 16th, 2026, at 2 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service on February 16th, 2026, from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M., at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
