Sherry Hennesay Tabb, age 62, of Joshua, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
A woman of deep spirit, compassion, and creativity, Sherry lived a life rich in love and meaning. She was the cherished wife of Lawrence Martinez, with whom she shared 15 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, companionship, and unwavering support.
Sherry was a proud and devoted mother to her son, Jason Watson, and daughter, Mellisa Berkley. She adored her grandchildren, who brought endless joy and pride to her life. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, whose bond with her was rooted in deep affection and shared memories.
An artist at heart, Sherry found beauty in colors-especially peach and pink-and in the quiet moments that inspired her love of reading and spirituality. Her gentle soul resonated through her passions, from painting to poetry, and in her care for animals. A proud dog mom to her beloved Chihuahua, Kiki, and a devoted cat lover, she offered a warm and nurturing home to every creature she loved.
Sherry's life was a tapestry of kindness, wisdom, and strength. Her spiritual depth and artistic soul touched all who knew her. Though she will be dearly missed, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
