Sherry Ann Hunter

Sherry Ann Hunter, of Mt. Laurel, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 surrounded by her family at the age of 59. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ; the daughter of Raymond T. and Carol (Carpenter) Rogers.

Sherry was a kind and gentle soul who found joy in the simple things she loved most. She enjoyed playing video games, caring for animals, swimming, and spending time in her garden watching things grow. These passions reflected her playful spirit, her compassion, and her peaceful nature. She was a hard worker and always gave 110% of her effort. No matter the circumstances, she never gave up trying.

Sherry will be remembered for her warmth, her love of life, and the quite beauty she brought into the world.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Katie) Hunter; and sister, Carol (Robert) Herbert; numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers, Brian Rogers and Raymond Rogers Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, January 20th from 10-11 AM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery, Mt. Holly. The family is deeply grateful for all expressions of sympathy and kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sherry's memory to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
