Sherry E. Hutt, 71, of Cicero, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 with family by her side. Sherry was born in Syracuse on February 20, 1954 daughter of the late Charles and Laura Sternberg.
She attended Marcellus High School and retired from Cicero North Syracuse School District. Before her retirement she worked at Harrison Bakery and OTB in Bridgeport. Sherry always enjoyed baking, gardening, crafting and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Sherry had a love for animals especially her pets; Milo, Otis, Baby & Lucy. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Cicero Post 787, Baldwinsville VFW Post 153 and the Maple Bay Rod and Gun Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hutt, her three sisters, Fanny O'Hara, Shirley Latz and Nancy Oakes.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie White, two grandchildren, Ethan & Kelcie; four sisters, Sharon (David) Hiltbrand, Susan (William) Mohn, Charlene Plucinik & Alice Pratt, along with her companion, Lawrence "Larry" Farrance, along with and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 12-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse, with a sharing of memories at 2pm.
A celebration of Mom’s life will be held at the VFW Post 3146 located at 2000 Lemoyne Ave, Syracuse, NY 13208 immediately following the visitation at New Comer. Please join us as we gather together, share a meal, and celebrate her life.
