Sherry Lynne Hyden, 67, of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of Independence, Missouri, died at 1:28 pm, Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022, at her sister's home in Silver Lake, Indiana. She was born on Dec. 17, 1955, in Wabash, to William and Geraldine (Harmon) Machmer.
Sherry was a graduate of Wabash High School. She retired from Lake City Ammunition. Sherry enjoyed working at her job, being on Facebook, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two children, Shamus (Megan Whitaker) Hyden of Wabash, and Nikki Mueller of Lees Summit, Missouri; four grandchildren, Paige Hyden and Luke Hyden, both of Wabash; Fallon Mueller and Rylee Mueller, both of Blue Springs, Missouri; brother, Dennis (Darleen) Harmon of Mesa, Arizona, and her sister, Carol (Kim) Butler of North Manchester, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Sherry's request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society.
