Sherry was born on June 24, 1964, in Hammond, Indiana, to James and Delores (Brady) Broomhead. She graduated from Thornton Fractional South High School, Class of 1982. On September 16, 1989, she married the love of her life, Daniel Jackson, who survives.
Throughout her career, Sherry worked as an accountant and retired as a pension processor from Ironworkers Local 395. In her free time, she enjoyed playing golf, arts and crafts, diamond art, and most of all, spending cherished moments with her family.
Sherry is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Daniel Jackson; her children, Tamara (Thorin) Jackson and Travis (Kaley) Jackson; and her treasured grandchildren: Abby, Wyatt, McKenna, Emmett, Jamey, and Brynley. She is also survived by her brother, Rick (Stacey) Broomhead.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debbie St. John.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Sherry's life on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn American Legion, Post 238.
