Sherry was born on December 29, 1945 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Raymond Kennedy and Margaret (Sullivan) Kennedy.
Along with her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her loving husband, Brian Mayer, and brother, Ronald Kennedy.
Left to cherish the memory of Sherry are her sons, Mark (Kris) Gasaway and Ryan (Ann) Gasaway; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, with two on the way, and sister-in-law, Nancy Kennedy.
Sherry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for the excitement of the casino was matched only by her passion for engaging in tablet games and playing cards with friends and family. These pastimes brought her immense joy.
Sherry found contentment in decorating her home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that welcomed all who entered.
Sherry was loved by many and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In keeping with Sherry's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
