Sherry Whitehurst McClellan

Graveside services for Mrs. Sherry Whitehurst McClellan 76, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Forest Park East Cemetery. Mrs. McClellan was born October 30, 1945, in Monroe, LA to Olivia and Edward Whitehurst. She passed away at home on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Mrs. McClellan was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, and a member of First Baptist Church of Shreveport.
Preceding her in death are her parents. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John Buzzy McClellan; daughter, Margaret D Artois and husband Edwin of Humble, TX; two sons, Leigh McClellan and wife Veronica of New Caney, TX, and John McClellan and wife Beth of Shreveport, LA; seven grandchildren, Corporal Andrew McClellan, USMC, Luke McClellan, Kayleigh McClellan, Michele Cisneros, Heather Stow, Nicole D Artois, Ashleigh D Artois, Larsen Jennings, Katie Jennings, and Cooper Jennings; seven great grandchildren, Patrick Murray, Addy Martin, Sarah Cisneros, Hutch Smith, Janie Smith, Maddie Smith, and Nicolas D Artois.
Serving as pallbearers will be Leigh McClellan, John McClellan, Edwin D Artois, Corporal Andrew McClellan and Luke McClellan.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, The Shriners Children s Hospital or to the charity of the donor s choice.
