Sherry Hampton McMullan, age 50, of Spinners Dr., passed away August 2, 2025, at her home. Sherry was born April 11, 1975, in Cleveland County, to the late Billy Lee Hampton and Nancy Rowland Hampton.
Sherry was a member of Christian Fellowship Interdenominational Church in Lawndale, NC. She was a black belt in Martial Arts and was also involved with the Girl Scouts of America. Sherry enjoyed crafting, and more than anything, spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, Sherry is survived by her husband, Richard “Bo” McMullan; children, Brock Dakota Wease, and Peyton Skyler McMullan; sister, Brandy Leigh Hampton; grandchild, Ava Nicole Wease; cousins, Crystal “Christy” Rowland, and Nicole Daves; and two bonus children, Edie, and Tessa.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Christian Fellowship Interdenominational Church, with Pastor Lloyd Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM, prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private.
