Sherry Rae Molands, born on Thursday, August 23, 1973, in Flint, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Kalkaska, Michigan. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, fiancée, sister, and daughter who brightened the lives of those around her.
Sherry graduated from Roscommon High School in 1991 and went on to work at ITW Coding Products in Kalkaska for many years. Her lively spirit and loving nature made her a joy to be around. Sherry enjoyed spending her time fishing, camping, cooking, and baking. She had a particular fondness for her grandchildren and took great pride in helping care for them.
Sherry is survived by her daughter, Ronnie Molands-Powell of St. Helen; her son, Ryan Molands of St. Helen; and her three grandchildren, Rylee Molands, Reagan Molands-Powell, and Rowyn Molands-Powell. She was also engaged to Chuck Lee of Kalkaska. Sherry is remembered by her sisters Kay, Debbie, Robin, Trudy, and her twin sister Shawn, as well as her parents, Alvin and Alice (Allen) Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her brother Frank and sisters Cindy, Jean, and Tammy.
In celebrating Sherry's life, family and friends are invited to gather for visitation and a funeral service on March 15, 2025, at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Homes located at 702 N St Helen Rd, St. Helen, MI. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Sherry Rae Molands will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
