Sherry Lee Pace, 60, of Chapin, South Carolina passed away peacefully in her home on August 3rd, 2025. She was born on October 25th, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina to Jacquelin Ann Platt and William Allan Berger.

Sherry led an active life. She was a devoted lover of the outdoors and spent much of her time tending to her garden. On quiet nights, she enjoyed drawing, painting, and watching horror films in the company of her beloved pets, Misha and Fred. Most of all, she loved living on the lake and camping on her island with her husband, Joey.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 36 years, Joseph Pace; her sons, Jared Pace and Patrick Pace; and her grandchildren, Hayden and Walker. She will be missed by her uncle and aunt, Charles and Patty Platt; her brother, Milton Platt, his wife Michelle and their son Josh; her brother in law, William Pace, Jr., his wife Ruth Ann and their daughter, Lindsay (Richard Cozad); brother in law, Mark Pace; nephews, Matthew and Andrew Pace; niece, Rebecca Pace (Devin Kirby); cousin, Carmen (Greg Carney) and her children: Brittney, Courtney, and Shelby; cousin, Billy Platt and his children: Will and Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Roslyn.

A Memorial Service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home on September 6th, 2025 at 3:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Danny Kyzer will be officiating.
