Jerry Pace Obituary
Mr. Jerry, born in Bleckley County, had lived in Warner Robins before moving back to Cochran. He was the son of the late Fred and Louise Evans Pace and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Pace, his brothers, Ronnie Pace and James Roy "Jim" Pace and his sister, Gail Pace Bowman. Mr. Jerry was a US Air Force Veteran, a retired Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Controller, a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and a commercial pilot.
Survivors are his daughter, Tammy (Tommy) Happel of Kathleen; his grandchildren, Alan (Megan) Happel; his great grandchildren, Addison and Aubrey Happel; step-children, Phillip (Rita) Smith, Paula (Renee Rowe) Smith, Lisa Smith (Walter) Duckworth; step-grandchildren, Brian and Brittany Smith, Paige and Walt Duckworth; sisters, Jean (Larry) Hardy and Faye Hooper; his sister-in-law, Diane Pace; his brother-in-law, Terry Bowman; several nieces and nephews.
The family is at 109 Country Lane, Kathleen.
