Sherry Lee Shearer passed away December 3rd, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Evelyn (West) Sollenberger. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Sollenberger, Jr. of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Nicholas Sollenberger of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and a sister, Arlene Cowden, of Bainbridge, Georgia.
Sherry is survived by her husband, George Shearer; her son, Stephen Shearer (Patty Cain) of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; her daughter Laurie Matlock (Scott) of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; sisters Vonnie Angle of Bainbridge, Georgia and Ann Young (Kenneth) of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; and granddaughters Melissa Shearer (Michael Nawrot) of Camden, Tennessee, and Emma Matlock of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Services will be private, and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
