Sherry Jean Young, 70, passed away at home, with her boys by her side, after a lengthy battle with illness.

Born on July 20, 1955, Sherry was a caregiver all her life, using her skills to provide comfort in the healthcare industry for many decades. This trait carried over to her home life, as she always put family first, providing a loving and compassionate household.

Sherry enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching and quilting, making beautiful pieces of art that will last lifetimes. She loved music, mostly the oldies and Bruce Springsteen. She went to many concerts with her die-hard siblings and nephew. But, most of all, she had an unwavering love for her family. Whether it was sporting events, skateparks, or school plays, she always made time to be there.

Sherry is survived by her two sons: Nicholas and his wife, Claudia and her grandkids: Zachary, Aubrey, and Kara. Brian and his wife Brianna. She is also survived by her brother and sisters, Shirley, Beth, Martha, and Joe, and their significant others. As well as many loving nieces and nephews. And of course, her beloved cat, Benny.

Although Sherry has moved on to the next chapter of her journey, there is no question that her impact to everyone was extraordinary. Her smile and laugh will continue to brighten the worst days for years to come, and the memories will last a lifetime.
