Funeral services for Sherrye L Washburn are Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Ms. Washburn, 52 years old, died Friday, September 26, 2025, at Henry Co. Medical Center. She is a member of First Baptist Church where she taught pre-kindergarten, Chairman of the Cancer Bake Auction for Relay For Life, a graduate of McKenzie High School Class of 91 and an avid supporter of Rebel Football.

She is survived by her parents Wayford Jr and Ann Drewry Washburn of McKenzie, a sister Sarah (Greg) Allen of Brentwood, a brother Chuck (Charissa) Washburn of Murfreesboro, nieces and nephews Maggie, Mollie, Mason, Kylie, Mabry, Blake, Sidney, Charlee Kate, Hadley and Nathan, and grandfather W.O. (Elizabeth) Washburn of McKenzie.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Marie Washburn and maternal grandparents Harris and Laverne Drewry.

In lieu of flowers because of the family's allergies please consider a donation to FBC youth, Relay For Life Carroll Co, or Beating Hearts.
