SHERYL MULLENDORE Obituary
Sheryl Ann Mullendore, 69, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Doey's House, surrounded by loving family.
Born on October 26, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of Ardath Lee (Mumma) and George Wayne Mullendore.
Sheryl graduated from South Hagerstown High School, class of 1972.
Later in her life, Sheryl attended the University of Dayton (OH) and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy.
Sheryl worked in a the visual/audio studios for the Washington County BOE and for WHAG TV for many years before moving away to attend college. After earning her degree, she worked as a Music Therapist at various nursing facilities. When she moved back to the area, she was employed part time at Brook Lane Health Services as a Receptionist.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Wayne Mullendore (Cathie) of Hagerstown; Sisters, Suzanne van Nosdall (Michael), of Aiken, SC and Laura Horning (Jeff) of Hagerstown; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
Arrangements were made with J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences can be offered at www.jldavisfh.com.
