Sheryl Renee Welch of Delta Township passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2024. Sheryl was born August 13, 1977 in Lansing, Michigan to Thomas "Mike" and Mary (Jobin) Metler. She graduated from Waverly High School in the Class of 1995 and went to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Siena Heights University. Sheryl was a Legal Secretary for AFSCME Michigan for twenty-five years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and camping. Sheryl was also artistic and would demonstrate her creativity through drawing, painting, and photography. She also had a lot of support and many wonderful friends within the Magdlene Circle and Bee Sisterhood Oracle groups and she will be dearly missed by her circle of women. Sheryl was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Dan; children, Kaitlyn Metler an Tate Welch; mom, Mary Jobin; dad, Mike Metler; brother, Jon Metler along with 6 aunts and 2 uncles.
A visitation to celebrate Sheryl's life will be held at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 12-4:00 PM. The Bee Sisterhood Oracle will lead a service at 3:00 PM to honor and say goodbye to Sheryl. All are invited. Memorial contributions may be given to the Bee Sisterhood Oracle, 12901 Marshall Road, Birch Run, Michigan 48415. Share your memories and condolences online at www.holihanatkin.com.
