Shirley Ann Frost Granier age 92 of Pearl River, LA passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Affectionately known as Grandma Texas by her grands, she is survived by her daughter, Regina Penton (Randy), her son Joe Granier (Judy), nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law. Shirley is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold J. Granier and her daughter, Cheryl Granier Denny, her parents and her sister. Shirley was born and raised in Ohio before heading south where she met and fell in love with her husband of 49 years, Harold. Together they loved to travel, taking the grandkids on trips with them. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, crafting, reading, gardening, and being a homemaker. She loved her family and being with the children, playing games, crafting, and teaching them to paint. Shirley was a kind loving lady with an infectious smile. She was a joy to everyone who met her. We were blessed to have her in our lives, and we will carry her in our hearts forever. Our family has lost an amazing woman, and heaven has gained another angel. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2025, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Pearl River, LA.
