Shirley Ann Baca, age 52, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on September 4, 2021. She was born in San Bernardino, CA to her parents, Raymond and Nancy Baca. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Jose "Ponch" Sauceda; father, Raymond Baca; aunt, Velma Baca; uncle, Pat Baca; daughter-in-law, Danielle Garcia and grandmother, Bessie Baca. She is survived by grandfather, Emilio Baca; mother, Nancy Baca; sisters, Janifer (Jeremy, Jasmine, Marvin) and Nicole, Mark, Lauren); brother, Alfred Baca (April, Angel); five children, daughters, Crystal Baca (Chris Bernal), Stephanie Garcia (Isaac Benavidez), Stacy Baca (Forrest Orr), Savannah Garcia (Gerald Gutierrez), son, Matthew Garcia (Danielle) and seven grandchildren, Lorena Baca, Lorenzo Saiz, Jose Luna, Jocelyn and Ana Benavidez, Elijah Garcia and Talon Orr. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shirley was truly one of a kind. She loved her children more than anything and was the best grandmother. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone, whether they were in need or not. We will miss her dearly, but will take comfort in knowing she is at peace. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 13, 2021, beginning with a Public Viewing at 11:00 AM, a Rosary to be recited at 11:30 AM, and a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.
