Shirley J. Cahill, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Born on July 22, 1947 in Presque Isle, Maine, Shirley lived a life full of love, creativity, and generosity.

Shirley will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the way she always put others before herself. Whether she was crocheting a blanket, sewing a quilt, or baking something warm and sweet for her family, she expressed her love through the care and detail in her creations.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Cahill; her children- Joan Cahill, and Robert S. Cahill; and her siblings- Lorraine Tardy, Vivian William, Fredrick Coty and Michael Coty. She was preceded in death by her parents- Martin Coty and Avis Coty; sisters- Yvonne Charette and Patricia Pulcifer; and brother, Martin R. Coty.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Shirley's life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, with Rev. Michael Williams officiating.
