Shirley Lee Chaney, January 11,1930 to September 2, 2025. Age 95 of Willowick, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. Shirley was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 11, 1930, to John and Ethyl Hull. Shirley graduated from Patterson Park High School in Baltimore
and after graduation, she went to work for Glidden Paint Co. where she met Samuel Paul Chaney, whom she married in September of 1952. In 1959, Shirley and Paul moved to Willowick, Ohio where they raised their two children Doug Chaney and Karen Cooper. Shirley and Paul were
members of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, Ohio where Shirley taught Sunday School. They later became members of Wickliffe
Presbyterian Church. Shirley enjoyed quilting, sewing and long walks with her neighborhood friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. In retirement, Shirley and Paul spent many winters as snowbirds in Ft. Meyers, Florida where they had a winter home. In 2016, Shirley and Paul moved from Willowick to Solon, Ohio and lived with their daughter Karen and her family.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, her sister Jean and two granddaughters, Sarah Chaney and Ashley Cooper.
Shirley is survived by her son Doug Chaney, wife Beth, daughter, Karen Cooper, husband Dave. Four grandchildren, Paul, wife Amanda, Matt
Chaney, John and Jenna Cooper and two great grandchildren Jasper and Wren Chaney.

Graveside Services Saturday September 6, at 12 PM (Noon), at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 11521 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026.
