Shirley P. COZZI, 95, of Scio, NY, died Monday, February 10, 2025 in Wellsville Manor Care Center.
Born January 3, 1930, in West Seneca, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Blumenstine Aiple. On February 2, 1952, in Buffalo, she married Paul Cozzi, who predeceased her on August 8, 2019. Shirley was employed by the United States Post Office in Scio for 31 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Scio Volunteer Firemen’s Auxiliary and loved to go bowling.
Surviving are: a son, Paul J. “Butch” Cozzi of Scio; a daughter, Diane (Rod) Nye of Chapin, SC; a grandson, Chad (Ebony) Nye of Greenville, SC; a granddaughter, Amanda Nye of Boca Raton, FL; a great-grandson, Landon Nye; a great-granddaughter, Payton Nye; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Jean Vandermullen; and a brother, George Aiple.
A private graveside service will be held in Knights Creeks Cemetery, Scio.
