Shirley Irene Greaver

Shirley Irene Greaver, 81 of Enterprise, WV passed into eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at 3:01AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born June 6, 1942, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Pinkie Ashley of Cunningham Run, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas (Tom) Greaver, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters: Cynthia and husband Walter Decker of Reynoldsburg, OH and Kim and husband Mike Farris of Lumberport, WV.
She is also survived by two sisters: Margie and husband Norman McDougal of Fairmont, WV and Virginia (Jenny) Hescht of Brunswick, OH along with brother Bernard and wife Brenda of Spencer, OH. Shirley is also survived by her dearly beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren: Isaiah Farris and wife Summer of Sulphur, OK and their children, Trinity, Patriot, and Honor; Ashley Dytzel and husband Jeff of Shinnston, WV and their children Reese, Thomas, and Lincoln; Abigail Milnes and husband Billy of Enterprise, WV and their children Gabrielle, Adalynn, Connor, Luke, and new baby on the way; grandson Devin Decker, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Karen Crayton, and Janet (Roger) Dotson, and brother-in-law Dave Greaver.
Shirley retired from the Sears & Roebuck catalog department. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family and spending time with her children and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank WVU Hospice for their kind care and assistance these last few weeks.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by the Harmer Funeral Home of Shinnston, WV. Visitation is Sunday, December 3, from 2:00PM to 7:00PM. The funeral service will be held at Harmer Funeral Home on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 11:00AM. Pastor Dave Luther of Warren, OH is presiding with entombment to follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.
