Shirley M. Haese, age 81, a resident of the Town of Kossuth, entered eternal life on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Shirley was born on November 29, 1943 in Manitowoc to the late William and Clara (Havlichek) Dvorak. She graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1961. On October 10, 1964, Shirley married Jack H. Haese at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. He preceded her death on June 19, 2025. She was a loving wife and mother, and a very dedicated homemaker. Shirley had actively volunteered at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for 12 years, and was a former member of St. Anne's Christian Mothers.
Survivors include Shirley's three children, Suzanne (Joseph) Savage, Pine River; Mark (Suzanne) Haese, Francis Creek; and Sandra (Curt) Meyer, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Danielle (Alex) Geiger, Meagan Savage, Ashley (Dakota) Marksman, Hayden (Kendra) Meyer, Sam Haese, and Jada Haese; five great grandchildren, Lakelyn Geiger, Haisley Geiger, Elle Geiger, Clara Meyer, and Rivian Marksman; four brothers-in-law, Bob (Diane) Haese, Ted (Cindie) Haese, Gary "Bucky" (Jolene) Haese, and Carl (Lisa) Haese; sister-in-law, Janice Troullier; special friends, Lester and Joan Lodl; also other relatives and many friends. Shirely was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents, William and Clara Dvorak; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Mildred Haese; three siblings, Marjorie (Ray) Schmit, Francis (Carol) Dvorak, and Grace Dvorak; two brothers-in-law, Richard Haese and Milt Troullier; and granddaughter, Kiara Haese.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 202 S. Packer Drive, Francis Creek. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Robert Mitchell with burial to follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery. A dinner for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Anne Catholic Church on Thursday from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Shirley's name to benefit organizations that were important to her.
Shirley's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staffs of DaVita Manitowoc Dialysis and Angelus Senior Living for all of the care and friendship they provided.
