Shirley Harper, age 90, of West Mifflin, formerly of Duquesne, died August 15, 2025, at Southwood Assisted Living. Born February 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Elizabeth (Harrison) Morgan and wife of the late Robert "Bob" "Snuffy" Harper. Shirley lived a life rich in love, friendship, and community involvement.

Shirley spent many years working at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, where she contributed her talents and became a cherished member of the Bettis Bowling League. Her warm spirit extended beyond the workplace, as she was an active member of her card club and a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Christ, where she and her husband served as youth leaders, positively impacting the lives of many young people. A proud member of the American Legion Post 8, Shirley held various offices throughout her years of service, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her community and country. Her kindness was evident in the thoughtful cards she sent to friends and family for holidays and special events. Shirley nurtured strong friendships with others, resulting in strong bonds that lasted a lifetime. Shirley's love of traveling with Robert and the Cipicchio family across the United States created many memories. She embraced life fully, sharing joy and warmth with everyone she met. She also enjoyed square dancing with her husband in a local group.

Shirley is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Hackett and Doris Mason, and her brother, Donald Morgan.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. The burial will follow at Richland Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com. Memorial contributions are suggested to https://www.smiletrain.org or a church of your choice.
