Shirley Ann Henry was born on September 27, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the age of 82.

Shirley was the daughter of the late John Ed Kaufman and Agnes Kaufman . She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. On January 14, 1961 she married the late John R. Henry, where they shared a loving 59 years together before his passing on November 1, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John R. Henry and her grandson George Henry, Jr.

She is survived by her sons John R. (Rosemary) Henry, Jr of Gainesboro TN, George Allan (Danita) Henry of Cookeville TN, Michael Edward (Angie) Henry of Gainesboro TN; brother Kenneth "Butch" (Nora) Kaufman of Sonora KY; sisters Katherine (Mike) Wurth of Louisville KY, Dotty (late Al) Gibson of TN; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a host of friends and family also survive.

The family has Chosen Cremation with no services at this time.
