Shirley Kelley, 84, passed away on September 11, 2024 in her home in Little Rock, AR.
Shirley Kelley was born on January 22, 1940, in El Dorado, AR, to Johnny Kelley and Jimmie Lee Robertson.
She worked as a cook at Townhouse Restaurant for over 60 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church-Cordell, where she once served as a member of the usher board.
She was best known for her delicious soul food cooking, homemade pies, and going to the casino with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Quevis Kelley, brothers Jewell Kelley, Grant Robertson, Randy Robertson, Joe Robertson Jr., and sisters Betty Buffing, Sara Robertson, and Tammy Robertson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two sons, David Kelley and Andra Kelley, both of El Dorado AR; two daughters, Thomasine Kelley and Tonya Sims, both of Little Rock AR; one brother, Norris Ray Robertson of Fort Leonard Wood MO; one sister, Gloria Jean Roberson-Criner of El Dorado AR; six grandchildren, Rodney Kelley, Kristan Kelley, Nicole Crew, Nicholas Crew, Andrea Kelley-Kingara, Sabrina Hardy; four great-grandchildren: Assata Kelley, Elijah Brazle, Jasmine Crew, and Kenya Kingara; and a host of other relatives and friends.
