Shirley Jean Sy Keyser was born in Unionville, Michigan on September 20, 1930 to the late John and Katie (Menzel) Sy. She passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 92 years. She married Charles "Bud" Keyser on March 27, 1948. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville. Shirley was known for her crocheting, knitting, sewing and pottery.
She is survived by 4 children: Mary (Bill) Blohm, Dennis (Janie) Keyser, Mike (Barb) Keyser and Rick (Mary) Keyser, a son-in-law Steve King, a brother-in-law Buck Keyser, 2 sisters-in-law Pat (Ed) Wilson and Anne Keyser, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Bud" Keyser, her daughter Bonnie King and grandson Chad King.
Funeral and committal service will be Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Steve Stolarczyk will officiate. Private burial will be at Wisner Twp. Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or A & D Hospice. Visiting hours at the Church will be Saturday from 9:30 until the service begins.
