Shirley Kiselewski, age 102, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025.
Born on January 3, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan, Shirley was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Krumholtz) Tremaine. She spent her life in Detroit and Livonia, having moved to Livonia in 1952. In 1946, she married John Kiselewski and dedicated herself to being a homemaker. After the passing of her husband in 1997, Shirley continued to maintain her home and was able to live there until the age of 100.
Throughout her life, Shirley was a passionate supporter of the Detroit Red Wings, having been a fan since her high school days in the 1940s. She also enjoyed bowling and remained an active participant in a bowling league well into her 90s.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children; Patricia Pearson, Joanne Branham, John (Carol) Kiselewski. seven grandchildren; Monica Ekonen, Todd (Michelle) Ekonen, Cassandra Branham, Rachel (Kyle) Wright, Nicolas Kiselewski, Joel (Olga) Kiselewski, Heather Kiselewski; and ten great-grandchildren.
A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Parkview cemetery.
