Kurdock, Shirley, age 93, of Hawthorne, on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Born in Paterson, Shirley was a resident of Hawthorne for over 33 years. She worked as a Medical Office Administrator for St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson. She enjoyed music, dancing, traveling, and was a skilled fine seamstress for weddings.
Loving mother of Anthony Morello and his wife Donna of Kinnelon, Steven Morello and partner Sue Pike of North Berwick, Maine and Grace Morello of Hawthorne. Dear grandmother of Natalie Spingold, Jenna Morello and Hannah Halliday. Dearest great-grandmother of Maxwell, Oren, Frankie and Vivienne. Beloved aunt of Ian Keller, Johanna Sena and BethAnn Masters. Loving great aunt of Ainsley, Samantha and Charlie Keller. Dearest sister of Marybeth Cohen. Dearest sister-in-law of Joanne Kurdock. She was pre-deceased by her son Joseph Morello.
Friends may visit with the family at the Browning Forshay funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Meeting at church, funeral mass on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 9:30am at St. Anthony's RC Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ 07506. Cremation will be private.
