"Together Again"
Shirley Marie Price, 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born in Yankton, South Dakota, on January 2, 1937 to Henry J. and Bonnie Lorraine Anderson Schmidt. She attended and graduated from public schools in Yankton, SD.
She married the love of her life, Jack Eldon Price, on December 20, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. Jack passed away in 2012.
Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was a wonderful mother and very active in the children's lives. She served as a Blazer leader, a 4-H leader and in the PTA. Shirley enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, and raising German Shepherd puppies.
Shirley is survived by her children, Mark (Danene), Galyn and Jeanne (Steve); 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Schmidt, Dave Schmidt, Bill Schmidt, and Lowell Schmidt; and sister, Angela Boyd. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Jack; sons, Kent and Randy; and grandson, Daniel.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
