Shirley Martin Obituary
Gaffney - Shirley Ann Smith Martin, 76, of 401 New St, Apt 1C, passed away on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, at her home.
Born in Union, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mallie Horne Smith. She was a faithful member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Hamrick Mills.
Surviving Mrs. Martin are her children, Jackie Smith (Candy) and Millie McDaniel (Cody); four grandchildren: Brandon Smith, Hunter Smith, Molly Parker, and Jaden Smith; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Jonathon Smith; and her sisters: Betty Millwood (David), Mattie Sue Quinn (Benny), Cynthia Hendrix (Wayne), and Joyce Stephens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Rickey and Jerry Smith, and two sisters, Ella Mae Wilson and Judy Millwood.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 4pm at Rose Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Hardin officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Rose Hill Baptist Church, 505 Bonner Lake Rd, Gaffney, SC 29340.
The Gaffney location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Martin family.
