Shirley McSwain, age 81, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial.
Shirley was born Saturday, December 5, 1942 in Clinton, SC to the late Eula Quinton. She was a graduate of Clinton High School, class of 1961. Shirley was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was of the Baptist faith and her favorite pastime was watching the Game Show Network.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Ronnie McSwain; sons, Michael Sprouse and Gary Sprouse, Jr. and a brother, Leslie Quinton.
Those left to treasure her memory include her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Shawn Timmons Sprouse of Inman; grandchildren, Connor Sprouse, Jennifer Sprouse and Jordan Sprouse; great-grandchildren, Logan Sprouse, Gracie Cunningham and Noah Sprouse; stepson, Tatum McSwain; stepdaughter, Barbie Hoyle and sister-in-law, Wanda McSwain of Forest City.
A gathering of family and friends will be conducted from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, November 4th at Harrelson Funeral Home.
