It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother Shirley "GiGi" Miranda, she was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother. Shirley was born on February 11, 1958 in San Antonio TX, and was called home by our lord on June 4, 2024 at the age of 66 surrounded by her loving family. Shirley attended St.Joseph's Catholic School and South San High School. She worked at the skinner clinic for 20 years and made many lifelong friends, she also was a part of "La Rosa Girls" from the age of 8, who now call themselves "LACRIPPS"
Our mom had a heart of gold. She loved her children dearly but her true spark came from her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and making her astonishing potato salad, she looked forward to that the most and let's not forget her large cup of coke.
Mom loved attending and serving on multiple retreats as well as joining Monday night WinGS retreats. She touched many hearts and built many bonds with her brothers and sisters in christ. Although there will be a void in our hearts, mommy did not fear for she knew that she had god by her side and she will forever be at peace and loved by all who knew her.
Shirley is preceded in death by her father Santos Encina Sr., Mother Esperanza Garcia whom she missed dearly followed by other family members. Shirley is survived by her loving children Terry (Lizette), Richard (Melissa), Orlando (Dan), alfonso (Bryna), Anthony (Tiffany), Stephanie (Dan), Father of her children Richard Medina, Brother Saint Encina, Sisters Sandy Encina Tapia and Veronica Encina (Jesse),
17 Grandchildren and 9 GiGi babies, Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Our mommy was truly loved and blessed.
We will miss you our little feisty firecracker.
