Shirley Moore Obituary
Born June 22, 1939 in Morganton, NC to the late James Reid Eller and Dorthy Cork Eller. She worked as a seamstress.
She was a member of Genesis Baptist Church. She loved to crochet, reading, water colors, flowers and her flower beds.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by children, Lance Douglas Quick, Terri Roxanne Quick, Rhonda Lyn Moore Kluttz and a grandson, Bobby Balgourd.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Charles Moore; sons, Robin Dale Quick of Faith, Christopher Shannon Quick (Melissa) of Spencer; daughters, Lilli Karen Quick (Gary Ray Simpson) of Asheville, Lisa Brooke Starkey of Salisbury, Linda Carol Moore-Kluttz (Chance) of Salisbury; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Tuesday (August 12) at Genisis Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Rex Ware officiating.
A private burial will be held at Rowan Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Genesis Baptist Church, 9710 Old Concord Road, China Grove, NC 28023.
