Shirley Paulette Morrow

Shirley Paulette Morrow, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away on May 30, 2024.  She was a cherished member of the Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church in Lonsdale, Arkansas. Born on July 4, 1950, in Malvern Arkansas, Shirley led a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Shirley's love for her family knew no bounds. She was a devoted wife of 56 years to her husband Lonnie Morrow. Together, they raised three sons: Donnie Morrow, Michael Morrow (Silvija), and Zachary Morrow (Amy). Shirley found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Katie, Meagan, Emily, Jimmy, Ben, Chris, and Rylee. Her heart also overflowed with love for her great-grandchildren: Reese, Sylver, Orion, Samson, and Adola.

In addition to her immediate family, Shirley is survived by her brothers Larry Overton, Charles Overton, Gary Overton; sister Toni Garrett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Pauline Overton, and her brothers Harold Overton and Dewayne Overton.

Shirley's adventurous spirit led her to enjoy camping under the open sky, hunting in the quiet woods, and participating in archery tournaments where she showcased her talent. Her passion for nature extended to tending to various flowers like roses, irises, and peonies that bloomed vibrantly under her care.

A visitation to honor Shirley's life will take place at the Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church, 17510 Church Rd in Lonsdale, on Wednesday, June 5th starting at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Owensville Cemetery.

Shirley Paulette Morrow leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
