Shirley Ann Neill, 81, of Atchison, KS formerly of Cummings, KS died on Sat. August 16, 2025, at Gran Villas, in Atchison, KS.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Sat, Aug. 23rd, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Seth Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Camp Creek United Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences and remembrances to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Shirley was born on July 3, 1944, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Curtis and Esther (Bodenhausen) Neill. She attended the Camp Creek grade school located on her grandfather's farm and graduated from the Atchison County Community High School in 1962. Shirley worked for several years in the laundry department of the Atchison Hospital. She was a faithful member of the Camp Creek United Church. She enjoyed swimming at the Atchison YMCA.

She is survived by two brothers Rev. Charles (Barb) Neill, Atchison, KS, and Robert (Karen) Neill, Cummings, KS, and one sister Barb (Cliff) Metcalfe, Cummings, KS. Nephews Aaron (Stefanie) Neill, Lee Summitt, MO, Chad (Angie) Neill, Lancaster, KS, Corey (Megan) Neill, Effingham, KS, Casey (Shanna) Neill, Cummings, KS, John (Carla) Metcalfe, Grantville, KS. Nieces Jennifer (Rob) Bentley, Warrensburg, MO, Jessica Metcalfe, Basehor, KS, and 16 great nephews and nieces. Her parents preceded her in death.
