Shirley was born Oct. 16, 1944, in Watervliet to Ellwood and Marjorie (Danneffel) Stewart. Shirley was a life time area resident. She worked for many years for both Tala Drugstore and the Thomas Kincade Store. She enjoyed shopping for clothes and jewelry and taking pictures. She also enjoyed supporting her son and her grandchildren in their activities. Shirley was a member of Lest We Forget and North Berrien Senior Center.
Shirley leaves behind a son, Paul Pflugradt; two grandchildren: Alexis Pflugradt and William Pflugradt; three great-grandchildren: Eva, Hayden and Owen and a sister, Doris Timmons to cherish her memory.
Shirley died Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sally; an infant son, David; her first husband, Paul Pflugradt Sr.; her second husband, Robert Ison and her parents: Ellwood and Marjorie (Danneffel) Stewart.
Hutchins Funeral Home is assisting Shirley's family with cremation and a graveside service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in Watervliet Cemetery.
