Shirley Mae Picacio

Shirley Mae Klein Picacio passed away on November 16, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on July 7, 1935 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Leo Klein and Mary Hoffman. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Picacio. She is survived by her sisters, Adrienne Toscano and Mary Louise Neeley; her children, Mary Angela (Jimmy), Roseanna (Eddie), Robert (Sylvia) and Marc (Dianna); 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. She was a military spouse, living in Turkey and twice in Italy. Shirley was active in sports as a player and coach. She was a former President of SVDP at St. Matthew's Catholic Church and was also a volunteer with the VIP and PST groups at SAPD. She loved praying the Rosary every day. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as with her family at the senior center at church.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Medical Center. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
