Thomas Ellis was born on January 24th, 1950, in Bloomington, Illinois. He went to be with the lord on January 25th, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Vera Ellis; he is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marsha Ellis and puppy, Piper.

Thomas was a very patriotic individual. At the age of 13, he became a proud eagle scout. After graduating from Freemont high school in 1968, located in Sunnyville, California. He started working as a support person for the San Francisco FBI. He then joined the United States Army and was stationed in Korea for a year. Upon returning, he stayed within the National Guard to complete his military career. During this time, he received his degree from San Jose State University in Criminal Justice. After the military, he was then appointed to the FBI academy, where he became a Special Agent for the FBI. He stayed a part of the FBI until his retirement in the year 2000 after 32 years of service.

Thomas really enjoyed traveling with his lifelong partner, Marsha after retirement. they visited Tahiti for their honeymoon. They also ran a business together that allowed for them to visit Hong Kong several times. Thomas's favorite location he visited was Italy . They traveled extensively to various other parts of the world, such as the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mission Park Medical Center. The graveside service with military honors will then follow on Tuesday February 17th , 2026 at 1:15 PM located at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery shelter #2.
