Shirley Marie Rahe

Shirley Marie Rahe, 81, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 09, 2025, at her home.
Shirley was born on October 05, 1943, to Fred and Lela (Hathaway) Badgley in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Michael Rahe on September 19, 1975, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Shirley was in local 88 meat wrapper union for Schnucks for approximately 15 years. Before her union job, she was a candy striper at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. While her son Terry was in Cub Scouts, she served as Den Mother for 2 years. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed reading, playing bingo, making crafts, and attending craft shows with her oldest granddaughter. She also loved to travel, dance and listen to music, especially Elvis Presley. Shirley was also a porcelain doll collector. She loved to go on outings with her great granddaughters to the nail salon and lunch at IHOP almost always followed! Shirley enjoyed watching her grandkids and great grandkids play sports. Her greatest joy in life was her family.
Shirley is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Mike Rahe; son, Terry (Faith) Stroud; two stepdaughters, Audra (David) Williford and Connie (Augustine) Garcia; nine grandkids, Mandy (Ryan) Loyd, Carrie (Jason) Sampaio, Kristi (Mike) Glosemeyer, Corey (Christen) Williford, Joey Williford, Taylor Williford, Kenzie Williford, Sarah Williford, Tori Williford; 16 great grandkids, Desirae Loyd, Austin Loyd, Aubriana Loyd, Bryant Reeves, Khloe Loyd, Madison Spies, Corey Sampaio, Kaiden Glosemeyer, Macie Glosemeyer, Mariah Glosemeyer, Lena Williford, Ezekiel Williford, Severus Williford, Emma Williford, Wesley Hoff, and Lillith Williford.
Shirley was preceded by in death by her parents; 14 siblings; son, Keith Stroud; granddaughter, Layla Williford; great granddaughter, Kinley Smegner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 1:00-2:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
