Shirley Ann Reilly

Shirley Ann Reilly, age 62, of Shelton, entered into rest on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the devoted wife of 16 years of the late Gary M. Reilly. Shirley was born in Bridgeport on March 29, 1961, daughter of the late Robert Harrington, Sr. and Marilyn (Chonko) Harrington.
She was an accounting associate for Cartier International for 19 years. Shirley was an avid Steelers and Yankees fan and enjoyed watching HGTV and the Food Network. She loved shopping with her nieces and nephews, getting her hair and nails done, and cooking for her family. At heart, she was truly a nurturing person and enjoyed taking care of others.
She is the beloved sister of Ronald Harrington, admired cousin of Sandy Berchem, and cherished aunt of Kelli and Vinny Buckley and their children Vinny Jr. and Nikki; Melissa and Jon Demeglio and their children Brooklyn, Vance, Levi, and Roman; Sarah Jecusco and Brian Watts and their children Brayden and Brianna; Jessica Cumbas Jecusco and Iohan; Reilly and Christopher Stager, and Kari and Matthew Francisco; who were all known as her kids. We must not forget her beloved furbaby Murphy.
She is also survived by her uncle William Chonko (Taryn), aunt Joan Chonko, aunt Carol Chonko, brother-in-law Sean P. Reilly (Yvette), sister-in-law Tami Sara (Kevin), and sister-in-law Jennifer Stager (Christopher). She was predeceased by her sister, Sharon Harrington.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Smilow Cancer Center of Trumbull, especially nurse Jenn.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Thursday December 28th from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will begin in the parlor at 6 PM.
