Shirley A. Riemenschneider, 90, of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on August 24, 1935, in Plymouth, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Raymond McCroskey and Ruth (Felker) White. Shirley worked as a laundry worker at the Logansport State Hospital, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Above all, Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time spent with her family and loved seeing her family grow through the generations.
She is survived by her son, Gary Dean (Sandra) Riemenschneider of Momence, Illinois; four granddaughters, Miranda (Mike) Kara, Nikita Andris, Haley Morehead, and Hannah Riemenschneider; four grandsons, Tyler Riemenschneider, Justin Riemenschneider, Uriah Riemenschneider, and Elijah Riemenschneider; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Riemenschneider; her parents; her sisters, Delores Balder, Bonnie Dankert, and Donna Lehr; and her brothers, Don McCroskey and Tom McCroskey.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
