Shirley E. Saville, 60, of Augusta, WV, passed away surrounded by loved ones at the Winchester Medical Center on November 16, 2025.
Shirley was born on April 28, 1965, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Martha Harris of Romney, WV, and the late George Slonaker Sr. Shirley previously worked for Parsons Kia in Winchester, VA. Creative and clever, she enjoyed making dollhouse furniture and collecting both antique glassware and clocks. She was also known for her deep love of animals and her enthusiasm for motorcycles, both of which brought joy and adventure to her life.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Dawn E. Slonaker of Winchester, VA; her brother, George Slonaker II of Augusta, WV; her nieces Michell, Angela, Jennifer, Jessey, Kyla, Jocelyn, and Jaylyne; and her nephews J.J. and David.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Saville; her sister, Ginger Slonaker; her nephew, Hunter Slonaker; and her sister, Michell "Missy" Elaine Slonaker, who passed away shortly after Shirley.
Family will receive friends on December 31, 2025, at Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV, from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, followed by a joint Celebration of Life, from 2:00 to 2:30 PM, honoring both Shirley and her sister, Missy.
